All dogs staying with us at Furst Choice Doggy Daycare must be at least 12 weeks old and must pass a health and temperament screening.
Our temperament test, which is available by appointment only, it is $20 and includes one-hour of playtime for new campers who meet our temperament compatibility requirements.
We require a hard copy of your dog’s current vaccinations, which must include:
- Bordetella
- 6-month Fecal Exam (Must bring in proof of clean fecal)
- *Canine Influenza H3N8 (we also accept the Bivalent Vaccine)
- *Canine Influenza H3N2
- Distemper/Parvo (sometimes known as DHLP or DHLLP)
- Rabies (one or three-year vaccine)
Pets should also show proof that they’re on current heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs seven months and older must be spayed or neutered. We provide a “quick-release” collar for you dog to wear while playing to comply with safety standards.
*Vaccines must be given two weeks prior to any temperment testing, daycare or boarding.
*Any vaccines that have been out of date for more than 30 days must wait 2 weeks after renewed shot before attending daycare or boarding.
